Flannagan Plastic Surgery
Is Dr. Flannagan board-certified?
Dr. Flannagan received board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2008. For expert plastic surgery services in our area, we invite you to contact Flannagan Plastic Surgery. How do I know if I am too old to have plastic surgery?
There's no specific age limit for plastic surgery. During a consultation, Dr. Flannagan evaluates each patient's goals, the necessary procedures to achieve them, and the patient's overall health and ability to undergo surgery and recovery. He also assesses the patient's support system, as some procedures require assistance at home during the initial post-operative period. This comprehensive approach ensures the best possible outcomes for our patients.Where will my operation be performed?
All surgical procedures are conducted at Ascension St. Vincent Surgery Center, also known as Surgicare Professional Boulevard, located in Evansville, Indiana, opposite St. Vincent Hospital. This fully certified facility has been operating for over 25 years and consistently ranks among the top surgical services facilities in the tri-state area. We offer a range of procedures including face lifts, body contouring, and breast augmentations. What size is appropriate?
Dr. Flannagan determines an appropriate size range by assessing the patient's breast skin, native tissue, and measurements. He then collaborates with the patient to select the most suitable option within that range. How long will my recovery time be?
Recovery times vary depending on the complexity of the procedure. Generally, cosmetic procedures require minimal downtime, with patients able to return to modified work duties within days or up to two weeks post-operation. For instance, breast lift procedures typically last two to three hours, with same-day discharge. Breast augmentation patients can usually return to work in three to four days with lifting restrictions. Abdominoplasty patients can typically resume desk jobs within seven to ten days, and standing jobs with weight restrictions after two weeks. Most patients can resume 90% of their daily activities within four to six weeks following any procedure. When can I work out?
Patients may resume low-impact cardio exercises after one week. Light toning exercises for the extremities can begin in 2-4 weeks. Running can be restarted one month after the surgery. Will I have drains? How long?
Most abdominal procedures require one to two drains, which typically remain in place for one to two weeks. How much does cosmetic treatment cost?
Dr. Flannagan offers a free cosmetic consultation to discuss your goals and treatment options. During your visit, you will receive a personalized quote and pricing the same day, tailored specifically to your needs and the treatment plan recommended for you. What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?
Botox and Dysport are both brand names for botulinum toxin, a medication used to weaken facial muscles that cause wrinkles. The difference is similar to that between Coca-Cola and Pepsi. Dr. Flannagan uses both products for cosmetic purposes, selecting the most appropriate option based on each patient's individual needs.Do you offer financing?
