Meet Dr. Kathleen Flannagan
Dr. Kathleen A. Flannagan is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated Cum Laude from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minor in Germanic studies. While attending Indiana University, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa undergraduate honors society.
Dr. Flannagan then returned to Cincinnati to attend the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. During her studies there, she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society before obtaining her Doctorate of Medicine degree.
After graduating from Medical school, Dr. Kathleen completed an internship at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following this, she completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the University Of Cincinnati. She then became board certified in Ophthalmology, scoring in the 99th percentile. After this, she completed an extensive two-year fellowship training in Orbital, Oculoplastic, and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. This has allowed her to focus her specialty in the field of Oculoplastic Surgery.
After completion of her fellowship training, Dr. Flannagan and her family moved to Southwestern Indiana where she has been in private practice as the area’s only dedicated Oculoplastic Specialist since 2007.
Dr. Kathleen has established Flannagan Plastic Surgery in order to provide cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the orbit, eyelids and upper face to the Southwestern Indiana area as well as to the tri-state area.
